Fan Assembly,Axial Specifications

The fan assembly or condenser fan blade fits on the motor shaft and circulates air over the condenser. This cools the refrigerant before it enters the evaporator. If the fan assembly in your room air conditioner is not operating properly, you will need to replace it with this part. This fan assembly has 5 blades and is approximately 14-1/2 inches in diameter. It is made of white plastic. You will need to open your air conditioner, and most likely remove it from the wall/window to complete this repair. Be sure to disconnect power to the unit before you begin this repair.

We are looking for a replacement fan for window unit. The one removed has 7 blades and measures 10.5 inches in diameter. Cannot locate one on any parts lists so far. Can you help?

Is this what i need if my air conditioner sounds like it kicks on but nothing blows out

Hi Heather, Thank you for your question. If cold air is not blowing out of your air conditioner, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the air filter, the fan and fan motor, the temperature control, the electronic control board, the capacitor and the thermistor. I hope this helps. The condenser fan broke on my LG air conditioner so i bought a new one from part select it lasted about 3 weeks and broke again is this common? Any suggestions?

Hi Stuart, thank you for your question. I would suggest double checking that that was the part that was the problem to begin with. It might be that there is another part causing issues and so it keeps making the fan fail. Otherwise we do have a 1 year warranty on all of our parts. I have bought the 5900AR1173A axil fan blade to replace broken blades but it is too loose on motor is this the right blade

If this is loose, you may need to check the shaft of the motor when the fan attaches. There is a chance that the shaft is damaged.
