Easy repair
I found a YouTube video to help with installation and it went smoothly. Can’t believe we lived with a broken door for years.

Ice Mountain again!
Having a working ice door has allowed us to begin making ice again. The repair was relatively simple. Care needs to be given in removing the unit from the outside of the door since the tabs can break pretty easily. But once removed, just one screw and replacing the spring, and the repair was complete. Part was exactly what was needed.

Ice chute door would open ok, but would not close unless you stuck your finger up inside and closed it.
Found a LG parts video and followed each step. Simple except getting the end of rod into the solenoid arm. Took a few tries, but got it.

Ice dispenser door (flap) will not open when ice falls into chute.
For model number LFX25950**
Hi Bill,
Thank you for your question. If ice is not dispensing, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the solenoid assembly, the ice chute door, the micro switch and the lever spring. We hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day.

I am looking for the recess grille that is shown in the dispenser parts diagram on your website. Is this part available? The part number inside the grille is abs 3806ja2149. It is impossible to clean as the water from the water dispenser accumulates and leaves white streaks.
For model number LSC27950SB
Hello Joan,

How to replace water tube from LG refri door?
For model number LRSC26920TT
Hello Aurelio, Thank you for your inquiry. Remove the dispenser housing from the door. Then unhook the water line under the door. Pull the old tube out through the dispenser housing. Push new tube into the hole of the dispenser and feed it down through the door and out of the hinge hole. Hope this helps!
