This is a tub-to-pump drain hose for a front load washer. The hose features flexible bellows which allow it to expand and contract when necessary. It carries the water from the tub of the washer to the drain pump so the used water can properly empty from the tub. This part is made of rubber, is black in color and measures 13 inches long. Be sure to drain the excess water from the washer before completing this repair. This is an authentic OEM part that is sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Relatively easy repair.
The part arrived in good condition. We paid a little extra for faster delivery, but due to weather the delivery was delayed.
It was a rubber part which fit perfectly, but was made of thinner material than the original.

Puddle On The Floor
Had a puddle on the floor under the washing machine. While I couldn't definitively confirm the source of the leak, I suspect it was the drain pump. As such, I replaced the drain pump and the drain hoses (one of those 'while you're in there' things). The toughest part of the whole job was moving the washer away from the wall. I was able to
... Read more leave the water hoses connected and just unplugged the electrical cord. Watched the YouTube video regarding the replacement and it was exactly what I needed. Just take your time and make sure everything fits together without force. In addition to the pump and the hoses, I had some drum shocks that I had previously purchased, but never installed. Replaced them at the same time. Everything fit together as expected and the washer works great. No leaks and reduced vibration. Good for another 15 years - hopefully.
Pull washer away from wall. Unplug cord and remove drain hose from receptacle. Remove 4 screws holding panel to rear of washer. Squeeze and slide back hose clamps on each end of drain hose and loosen center clamp with screwdriver. Remove old hose. Reinstall new hose in reverse order using existing clamps. Re-install back panel.

A leak was created via puncture of metal part of bra that fell out.
Remove old one and replace. Just make sure it is all the way on and secure or you will have a huge mess on your hands.

Is there a way to check the drain pump to determine if its the culprit for the water not to drain. When filter removed water pours out from there just can't get it all to drain out due to no drain , no spin.
For model number WM3250HRA
Hello Becky, thank you for writing. The first thing to check would be if the impeller spins or not. If the impeller does not spin, then the Drain Pump is faulty. You can also test the voltage of the Drain Pump with a multi-meter. It needs 120 volts to run correctly. We hope this helps.

Is there a way to determine the source of my leak without taking the front panel off? Water drips underneath from the front edge center (under the drum) and left (under the tub-pump drain). With the top off, I can't see any water drips, so it's not anything with water intake. I'm thinking tub to pump hose or gasket around the door.
For model number WM2050CW
Hi Beth,
Thank you for your question. Based on your description, the leak is likely coming from the area around the pump. To verify exactly where it is coming from, you will need to remove the front panel. If you have any questions, please let us know. We look forward to hearing from you!

Machine was not draining and pump has been replaced. No that I have seen it run, it will not will not switch to spin and still will not drain.
For model number WM2250CW
Hi Alan, thank you for reaching out. Based on our research, you may need to check the drain hose, part number PS3527285, as it could be kinked or clogged with debris from your clothing. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope that helps!
Cleaned drain filter and it was full of pieces of plastic, cleaned and put back now water pours out when washing… what could be broken in there causing leak?
For model number Wm2455hw
Hi Sandra, thank you for your question! There is a black rubber "O" ring under the screw cap, which provides a watertight seal when the cap is screwed on tight. Check that it is not split, cracked, or worn, creating an imperfect seal when the cap is screwed on so that the water can get through. If it is broken or damaged, you will need to replace it with part number PS3522306. Please reach out to customer service if you need help placing an order. Glad to be of help!
