Is this the right door or the left door part? On the diagram shows as the left door but according to the picture this is the right door shaft

Hi Luiz,
Thank you for your question. This part would be for the left door. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Both cams had broken off the gasket retainer strips
Check YouTube, but no one shows all the details. Need to swap hinges and spring from old retainer to new retainers by removing screw at bottom of hinge, then removing rod with small screwdriver to poke the rod out. I laid the old and new side by side and did swap to ensure proper orientation. Attach cams before sliding gasket retainer back into gasket, I used a few drops of liquid soap as lubricant on the retainer to help it slide in. Very important to ensure the edge of the retainer is tucked behind the door edge or else things will not fit correctly. I did it a few times before I got it right, but didn’t break anything else. Good luck.

Left side refrigerator door not staying closed
the first part of the repair involved figuring out exactly which part needed to be replaced. this proved to be more difficult that the actual repair. Sadly, the parts diagram on PartSelect is useless. this is true for every aftermarket part supplier because they all use the manufacturer's parts diagrams. The solution to the puzzle was, of course, YouTube!
Just lookup something close to your problem and YouTube will most likely have a video of the repair. In my case the YouTube video actually named the part I needed and showed exactly how to replace it. It took a bit more digging and cross-referencing on PartSelect but I was able to order the correct parts and the purchase & shipping process was flawless.

part is correct
The cam shaft is correct but is not the part I need to repair the door. The part That I received is pictured on the impossible to read diagram. The part that this "cam shaft" is fastened to is the part I need and is not shown on the terrible diagram. I called your store to get some assistance on this and the person I talked to had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. Product knowledge? I have tried other parts stores and they show the same diagram which should be burned. The refrigerator door still closes but not tight. I am planning on using Velcro to hold the door tightly closed. A real piece of junk.

Easy repair
It was a minor part that needed to be repaired. It took a little longer than the You Tube video led me to believe, but I was still able to get it down pretty quickly. It works exactly as it should.
