The fuse-time delay may also be known as a line fuse or a microwave fuse, and it is a piece for your microwave. The function of this part is to shut off the microwave if there is a power surge, in order to protect your microwave from damage. You should consider having a service technician install this part as the high-voltage capacitors in a microwave can contain a very harmful electrical charge, even when the microwave is unplugged and has been inactive for some time. The tools that would be needed to complete this installation include a Phillips screwdriver, an insulated screwdriver, and a pair of pliers.

We bought this part, installed it and now my microwave is working beautifully. So glad we didn't spend $500 on a new microwave. Thanks PartSelect

Can i use a continuity tester to check whether or not the fuse (part # 3b74133q) needs to be replaced? Symptoms: Turntable and magnetron do not work, but electronic panel seems to function well. Timer and clock are okay.
For model number LRM1230W
Hi Paul,
Thank you for your question. Yes, you would be able to test that part with a multi meter to check if it is working or not. Generally most fuses should read about 0 ohms. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Is this part easy to get to and replace, if not was is the cost of a technician? To replace the fuse, microwave wont turn on.
For model number 72181629600
Hi Ronald, Thank you for the question. We do not have technicians sorry, we are a website based company that sell appliance parts. You should be able to access the fuse by removing the vent grill and the control panel. You need to be careful when working on microwaves. The compacitor that is located close to the fuse can hold a charge even when the appliance is not plugged in.You can release the charge with a screw driver with an insulated handle.Hope this helps!

When i use my microwave, the breaker flips off. Why is this happening?
For model number 721.80042700
Hello Deborah, if your microwave is flipping your breaker it could be a sign of a defect. The most common part that would fix this issue is the control board, unfortunately this part is discontinued for your model. There is a possibility that you have too many appliances assigned to one circuit, in which case giving the microwave its own may fix the issue. Hope this helps!

Micro wave works but no display for clock and settings
For model number LCRT2010ST
Hi Glen, thank you for your question. You would have to replace your control board as the display is integrated into that part. The part you are requesting on has been discontinued and we have no known replacement listed in our system. We have no further information. You are welcome to contact the manufacturer of the part to see if they have recently released a new substitute. This was the part number: EBR73927306. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair. Replaced the fuse with a LG 3B74133Q but the turntable won't turn/work. The electronic panel works okay. Why doesn't the turntable work; what is the problem?
For model number 72180833500
Hello Derrick, Thank you for the question. If the appliance powers on and everything else works normally, you may have a faulty Turn Table Motor. If you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
