Hello Ronald, thank you for contacting us. Based on our research, the oven door will not lock if it is warm from baking. Be sure to let the oven cool down before attempting to latch the door for the self-clean operation. Because of the heavy insulation around our self-cleaning ovens, it may take several hours for the oven to completely cool down. If the issue still persists you may need to check the electronic control board, part number PS11756562, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
