Easy repair
All of the parts I buy form your company work perfectly every time. When I made this repair I found a bad timer but I decided to replace all of the control because they were badly corroded where the wires connected. Everything worked perfectly and fit perfectly as well.

Wrong part
My water was not mixing. I was advised to buy the 3-position water switch. After I installed it I learned I had the same problem. Then I had to buy the triple inlet valve. I am waiting on the second part now.

Exchange Agitator And Switch Rotary
Take out 1 1/4" bolt, slide adgitator off and new one back on. This job about 5 min. The rotary switch I took 3 screws off back of top housing and twisted old rotary off and twisted new rotary on. Then exchanged the 4 wires one at a time. About 15 min. For both jobs.
Remove four screws which held the front cover of the washer. Dropped the cover down to expose the temp. switch. Turned the switch 1/8 turn counterclockwise which removed the switch from the cover. Pulled of the four pigtail wire leads and then installed the new switch in reverse order. Very easy!!

The cold water quit when washing with cold water
Removed three nut screws and raised the control panel forward twisted the old switch off removed one wire at a time and put it on the new switch. I did this so the wires would be where they should. After I put the new switch on I replaced the three nut screws I plugged the washer in set it on cold water and it worked like it should.

Could not regulate the amount of water going into the Machine
I shut off the juice to the Washer, I then removed the 4 torx head screws in the panel, so I could gain access to the switch. I then unpluged a small hose going to the switch, then turned the switch by hand about half a turn & it came right out. I then replaced the switch with the new one by turning it half a turn in opposite direction, r

Washer will not fill with cold water except in rinse cycle.
For model number glwn2800dows
Hi Stan,
Thank you for the question. If the cold water is working for other cycles then it indicates the fill valve is fine. I suggest replacing the Temperature Switch. This part regulates the temperature of the water in the tub.
Good luck with the repair!

When i do a load on hot i only get luke warm water, warm load is cold. When i switch the water lines so the hot water line goes into the cold spot on the washer i can get hot water on a cold load wash. What part do i need to fix my hot wash load?
For model number Gtwp1800d2ww
Hello Cindy, thank you for your question. It sounds like the water valve is allowing too much cold water in to the unit. I would recommend replacing the water inlet valve on the back of the unit. The part number WH13X22720. I hope this helps!

Washer will use cold water for the wash cycle but hot water for the rinse cycle, even when set to cold/cold. What part do you recommend to fix? This is a recent problem; the washer used to rinse with cold.
For model number Ghwp1000m0ww
Hi Greg,
Thank you for your question. Based on what you described, you will need to check the temperature switch and the triple water inlet valve. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

No hot water at all, tub will not fill when on hot. Fills with cold when on warm or cold. Do I need to replace inlet valve? If so, what part for my machine? Also, is it a relatively easy fix - ie: can I do it myself? Thank you.
For model number GTWN2800D1WW
Hi Thomas, Thank you for the question. I suggest replacing the valve, PartSelect Number PS11721803. Most customers have been able to do the repair on their own and said it was a fairly easy repair. Hope this helps!

Washer will fill on warm or hot setting, but not on cold setting (not even a trickle). I turned off the cold water, unscrewed the hose from the back of the washer, pointed the hose down the drain line, and turned the water back on. I have good pressure. I next checked the filter screen. I do not see any sediment or other material in the screen. I then unplugged the washer, removed the control panel, removed the connecter clip from the cold and hot water valves that bring power from the timer. With a multimeter, i checked the power on the clip connecting the wires from the timer. On the warm or hot cycle, i get ~120 v. On the hot water clip. On the cold setting, i get zero power from the connector clip. Am i looking at a bad timer?
For model number GLWN2800D1WS
Hi Matt,
Thank you for your question. If you are not getting any hot water, the issue is either the temperature switch or the water inlet valve and you will need to check both parts with a multimeter to see which one is causing the issue. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Tub is not completely filling with water on the rinse cycle.
For model number HSWP1000M2WW
Hello Sheila, thank you for inquiring. For this symptom you will want to replace either the 3 Position Temperature Switch part PS3499718, the Water Pressure Switch Hose part PS272183, or the Triple Water Valve part PS11721803. We hope this helps.

The washer will not fill properly for the rinse cycle. Only use the cold water settings at all times.
For model number GLWN2800D1WS
Hi Noel,
Thank you for your question. If the washer is not filling correctly with water, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. Here is a link from our website that you may reference on what parts to check, https://www.partselect.com/AdvancedModelSymptoms.aspx?ModelNum=GLWN2800D1WS&mfgModelNum=&fkMfgID=2&ModelMasterID=370013&PID=37. Hot water leaks. Noise from temperature switch and washer is not rinsing.
For model number GTWN2800D1WW
Hello Mauricio, Thank you for the question. This sounds like a defective Triple Water Valve and it may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
My washer works but not with hot water. It runs fine (it's about five years old) however, no hot water comes out once I select the hot temperature. I check the hoses and they are fine. What is causing this problem?
For model number GTWP1800DOWW
Hello Michael, thank you for inquiring. This could be caused by either the 3 Position Temperature Switch part PS3499718 or the Triple Water Valve part PS11721803. We hope this helps.
