Is this more than one filter? What is the filter life. I bought a filter at home depot that is model fxhtc. The filter life is only 3 months. Are there other filters with a longer shelf life?

Hi Lois, Thank you for the question. This would be the Whole By Pass system. The filters are PartSelect Number: PS220394. You will need to replace every 3 months or 30,000 gallons for best performance. At this time GE only lists the 3 month filter. Hope this helps!
