How does a person replace this part (ez sensor). Located on the door
For model number FUF14DVARWW
Hello Dennis, Thank you for your inquiry. Use a putty knife or flat blade screwdriver to pry out the old board. You may want to use tape or a plastic card to protect the freezer finish. Align the pins on the new board with connectors on the door and carefully snap the board into place. Plug the freezer back in and confirm the new board works. Hope this helps!

Did Frigidaire make this model for GE Whirlpool ?And will other controls work?
For model number FUF 21svcrww
Hello Doug, thank you for your question. This is a GE appliance, but the control they use is part number WR55X11084 which is a GE part. Per your model information, this part will work with your appliance. Good luck with your repair!

EZ control has quit working. It has an unreadable display. We had a storm on the night when it quit working. The freezer stays cool like a refrigerator, but does not get cold enough to keep food frozen. The alarm never came on. Does the control need replaced or could there be other problems?
For model number FUR21SVDRWW
Hello James, Thank you for the question. Normally this is an indication the Board may have shorted out during the storm and needs to be replaced. We hope this helps!

Bought this freezer used. No instruction manual and I see it is no longer available. When purchased the temp control on front was set on 4 and has been working well until now. It is kept in a garage (so it is warmer there) and has now dropped to #2. Food is still frozen but worried it is on the way out. When I try to raise the temp to a higher no. An "l" shows up and goes back to "2". Any advice? Thanks
For model number FUF14SVARWW
Hello Nancy , Thank you for the question. This normally indicates the EZ Set Control is defective and may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

Freezer has power but not cold
This happened before, when we loose electricity it blows the computer module. Pull the bad one out. When the new one arrives, unwrap and plug in! That easy! Viola, freezer will now work. Set the temp control as needed.
