Worked as expected
Why can't they make this part more durable and drainable? I've replaced it twice as it freezes and brakes in winter when the house is closed. After the first time I have been super careful to drain and antifreeze the machine.

I need a part that may be f36 on the control panel diagram. It says it's f36 on the diagram but the diagram only has a 36. It is an expensive part, could i be refunded fully if it's not the correct part because there is no picture of the part, just a large diagram with letters that don't quite match
For model number 417.41122410
Hello Matt, thank you for your question. Item 36 on that diagram is the water valve for the unit. If you're needing to replace that part, you would order PS3490374. This is the water valve assembly for your specific model. If it is not correct, you are able to return it within 30 days for a full refund. Please see our return policy information at the following link: https://www.partselect.com/Thirty-Day-Returns.htm
I hope this helps!

After I use my washer on the delicate cycle, the drum continues to fill with water over the next several hours. Usually, a couple of inches of water collects. This never happens on other cycles.
For model number FAFW4011LW0
Hi Fred, thank you for your question. The first part to test would be your water inlet valve. The valve can be tested with a multi meter and should be reading between 500 - 1500 ohms of resistance. If that part is fine then you may have an issue with your control board itself. Good luck with your repair.

How do I remove the water inlet valve assembly?
For model number 417.41122410
Hi Dollie, thank you for reaching out. Here are some general instructions that will help you remove the water inlet valve: First, unplug the washer and remove the top panel by removing the screws from behind. After removing the screws, slide back the top panel and lift it to remove it. Remove each of the wire harnesses. Remove the screw attached to the water inlet valve. Remove the grommet assembly with a flat screwdriver. Remove the vent tube assembly by turning it anticlockwise and taking it out. Now, unthread the second screw attached to the water inlet valve. Remove the water inlet valve by pushing it forward and taking it out. We hope this helps!
