How do I remove the control panel from the freezer door?
For model number GSHS6HGDECSS
Hello Jim, thank you for asking. We are providing you with the instructions that will help you in removing the control panel. You have to just to just insert the small size screw driver in to the hole at the bottom of the paddle and funnel assembly to help detach the display control. Remove the electric connections and replace it with the new one. We hope this information helps!

The plastic cover on the control panel (just above the ice and water dispenser) has worn through due to use over time. Everything still works fine, but I'm wondering if there's a way to just replace the plastic cover .
