Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
After an electric surge, I had no power through the main board. By troubleshooting I determined it to be the main board.
I began by unplugging the unit.
Then I removed the cover from the back of the refrigerator.
I took a picture of the board with my camera phone so that I would be sure to plug everything in the correct slot.
I use the needle nose pliers to pinch the 4 posts holding the board in place.
Then I unplugged the circuits by gently prying the snap in locks to release.
Next I lined up the 4 posts and snapped the board in place.
I finished up by plugging in each of the circuits.
I attached the ground to the back panel as I was reattaching the cover.

The display is not lighting. Does this require replacement of the circuit board? P/n ps3487970? .Refrigerator appears to be operating normally. What happens if i don't replace the display?

Hi Ronald, Thank you for your question. It could be this part but it could also be the display board up by your dispenser board: PS3487968. The main control board controls all of the functions inside of your fridge. The display board up by your dispenser is just your user interface where you tell the control board what you want it to do. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My refrigerator lost power and will not start. Things I have checked: Power relay/fuse box, electrical outlet for refrigerator, GFI switch, and I unplugged the fridge and waited 1 hour. There is no electrical power to the refrigerator. Could the issue be the control board or some relay on the control board?

Hello David, Thanks for your question. Test the run capacitor and temperature sensor as well if you have not yet with a multimeter and replace them if they show no continuity. If these parts are testing positively, consider replacing the control board. I hope this helps.
