The control panel cover attaches to the front panel and covers the selection buttons and display components for the room air conditioner. The main function of the cover is to protect the display settings and selection buttons from getting damaged. The cover has clips on both left and right top corners for easy installation. These clips also allow the cover door to open and close with ease. If one or both are broken, the part should be replaced.
