Dryer won't start, touch pad does not light up. Does this mean
Dryer needs new control board?
For model number DCVH680EJ0MV
Hello Kirby,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest replacing both the interlock switch under part PS1481922, and the door switch under part PS2344321 for your model to fix the issues for your dryer. We hope this helps.
My dryer display lights up and thinks it is running its cycles. However it only actually runs about a quarter of the time. And sometimes it stops running midcycle but the display still thinks it’s running its cycle. Do I need to replace the main power board? Is this a common problem with this dryer?
For model number DCVH680EJ0WW
Hi Chuck, thank you for the question. No, it is not the common problem. The issue is most probably with the main control board assembly, part number PS3487192. It manages the functions of the dryer such as drying time and temperature. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
