Hello Ernest, thank you for your question. There are two safety thermostats on the unit. They are part number PS3409178, andPS1147411. They are located on the back of the appliance. They may be able to be accessed through holes in the back panel, or the panel may have to be removed. I hope this helps!

F10 code when baking, oven cooled but fan would not turn off. Powered on next day, heated to 300, turned off and fab again would not turn off. Temperature sensor tested at 1088ohms. Is there another part to test? High limit thermostat or other safety features that we should test and what ohms should they read at.

Hi Jennie, thank you for your question. There are a few parts that could cause this issue in your appliance. First I would say test your elements with a multi meter to see if they are working correctly or not. They should be reading between 0 - 50 ohms to be working correctly. Because your sensor is testing within the range of 1000 - 1100 ohms, that does mean it is good. So testing your thermostat would be your next step. That part should be reading 0 ohms. If those parts are fine however, then the issue may be in your control board. Good luck with your repair.

Hello David, Thank you for contacting us. You will need to do a resistance test on the thermostat. It should be reading 1090 OHMs of resistance. Hope this helps!

What is the difference between this part and part #318003614? My oven is not getting up to temperature and I am trying to determine which part needs to be replaced (temperature probe is brand new).
For model number PLES399ECG

Hello S, thank you for reaching out. Both of the parts you mentioned are the high-limit thermostats for your model. They trip when the oven overheats. We would recommend testing both of the thermostats for continuity and replace the faulty one. We hope this helps.

I replaced the oven probe. Oven temp still keeps going with no control. I cannot find any numbers on the control panel. Don't know if this is related but months before the over temp problem the time-of-day clock disappeared. Should I be looking at the high limit switch, and where is located. Also where is the EOC (control panel?)

Hi Don, thank you for asking. The high limit switch, part number PS3409178, is located at the back of your appliance. According to the symptoms, we recommend replacing the electronic control board, part number PS1147495, as it seems to be defective. The control board is located at the front of the appliance behind the overlay. If you require assistance to place an order, please contact customer service. We hope that helps!
