Washing Machine Repair
Ordering the part I needed to fix the washing machine was easy through PartSelect. It was delivered on time and I was able to install it myself with the help of the online video. I will do business again with PartSelect if the need arises.

Yes, it is replaced and working.
I just received my Discover bill and there is no credit for the first part I ordered which was the wrong one. I did send it back. The second one was correct and is installed, working fine.

Original water level switch broke
It was really easy. Only needed 2 tools. Took off the back of the control panel with a nutdriver and phillips head screw driver (4 screws). Removed the old switch with phillips head screw driver (2 screws) & pulled off the nob & tube. Installed the new switch, reconnected the tube and nob. Replace the back and reset the control panel
... Read more and my wife was all set to go with the laundry. One last note, I had to pull the machine away from the wall a couple of feet to reach the back. After putting it back together I pushed the machine back into place. Remember to re-level the machine by pulling the back up about a foot or so and placing back down. The self leveling mechanism underneath will level the machine automatically for you.

When replacing the water level switch do i have to change the hose also?
For model number NTW5100TQ2
Hi Cassandra,
Thank you for your question. If your hose is torn or there are any holes in it then I would suggest you also change that part out as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

when the level switch is in super the water will not cut off. works fine in medium setting
For model number wtw5100vq2
Hello Aaron, thank you for contacting us. It sounds like there may be an issue with the water level switch, part number PS3408163, in your washing machine. The level switch is responsible for detecting the water level in the washer and turning off the water supply when the correct level is reached. If the level switch is not functioning properly, it could cause the water to continue filling even when the "super" setting is selected. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
