The microwave has the following issues:
When the door is pulled down, the light turns on, but the control panel does not respond to any input.
Occasionally, the control panel will start working on its own, at which point the microwave heats food properly and functions normally.
However, after some time, it stops working again, and the control panel becomes unresponsive.

Hello Mandy, Thank you for contacting us. If you haven't already done so, disconnect the power to the microwave for 10 minutes to see if that resets the board. The issue could be with a blown fuse, door switches, the touchpad or with the user interface control board. Check for any visible damage and you can test the switches with a multimeter. For safety reasons, since the microwave capacitor can still store electricity even when the microwave is unplugged, it is usually advised that you discharge the capacitor before any attempt at repair. We have included a link on how to do so. Good luck with your repair.
