Our 20+ year old Kenmore clothes washer finally wore out its agitator ratchet fingers, and no longer could do it's personal rhumba. Would not agitate properly
I used one socket on the one bolt. Put the repair kit together dropped it in and replaced the bolt. It took less than 10 minutes, total time, from opening the package to full restoration.

Does agitator dog replaceable by itself or do I need a complete agitator repair kit?

Hello Dennis, thank you for writing. If you are unsure if the Agitator Directional Cogs PartSelect Number PS388034 may not be the only issue, then you should replace the Agitator Repair Kit Number PS334649. We have an installation video for you to access. We hope to hear from you soon.
