Door would pop open. I cleaned gasket made sure nothing in the way of door. Gasket was cracked top and bottom it worked better but the seal was not good.
Did just like the video showed took doors off daughter helped take off doors so easy put door on blanket. My daughter 38 went to town putting it on just watch the corners so easy two days after installation the door seals great. You can do this.

rippped the old one off and carfully put the new one on with a flat head screwdriver at an angle as not to rip the new one

After 17 years, the old door gasket was split and showing signs of mold
The gasket has an inner lip that fits over the edge of the door plastic liner. The old gasket was removed by pulling it straight out, in the plane of the door. Replaced Freezer Door and Refrigerator Door Gaskets

Next, on a long side of the door, cut through the gasket so I could pull it off the door in one piece without separating the door liner from the outer door. Frost-free freezer was frosting up

Getting water on shelves, sometimes it freezes. Ice maker is not hooked to water. I tested the gasket to fridge seal with a piece of paper and it seemed a lot weaker than the fridge to freezer door seal. Will this stop the water collecting on the shelves or is there another problem. Freezer seems normal--no ice or frost on walls.

Will a new seal stop the door from opening 2 inches on it own and some times feels like you have push it shut the last 2 inches will not order parts till I hear from you

Hi Ray, Thank you for the question. The gasket can be one of the issues but I also suggest checking the hinges and the washers to make sure they are intact and now wore down or bents. The door needs to sit level in order to close properly. Hope this helps!

After having had the frig cleaned, the interior aspect of the gasket has partially separated (from the outer middle aspect of the door) which now doesn’t close fully on its own without intentionally pushing it shut. Also, the suction is weak, although it does close fully when pushed. Can this be repaired/resealed/glued?/
The estate model I have is white. If need be, do you have a white gasket replacement part or know where to get one? Would it require an expert or can I do this on my own?
Also do you think my food is in jeopardy until this gets resolved?

Replacing the refrigerator door seal is usually a relatively easy process, so you can do it yourself. The door gasket, part number PS323895, in beige color, is only listed for your model.
