Slider rails broke from weight/age and broke cover glass
We bought the refrigerator second hand, so one of the drawer slides was already partly damaged. Eventually both rails broke on the same side of the fridge taking the cover glass with them. All I had to do was remove the broken rails by unscrewing them from the interior walls of the fridge, kept the screws and used them with the new rails because they were in good shape. Drawers slid right in. The new glass fit perfectly where the other had been.
The most time I spent was taking the food out of the fridge and putting it back in. I did it by myself while my husband watched the baby.

A plastic drawer and a couple of plastic side rails were broken
As I unscrewed the side rails I made note of exactly how they were to go back on. Then I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. Found some stuff back in there that looked like steak but I couldn't be sure so I didn't eat it. I screwed the new side rails on using a regular screw driver, not a drill, and everything fit like a drawer in a refrigerator. I ordered the screws just in case but I did not need them. I gently encouraged my wife to not overfill the drawers in the future and she was very thankful for the instructions.

Top and bottom slide rails.
Each slide rail is secured by 2 Phillips screws. Remove the 2 Phillips screws on each slide rail. Reinstall in reverse manner of removal. A magnetized screwdriver is a big help for reinstalling the screws.

Sliders on right side broke
Very simple repair. The hardest part was making sure I was ordering the correct sliders. I nailed it! I simply removed drawers and glass, removed broken sliders by unscrewing them, wiped out fridge, screwed in new sliders and replaced glass and drawers. The whole process was easy. I'm glad you were there for me!

I am looking at side rail for the refrigerator. Does "right side rail" mean my right side as I am looking towards the refrigerator or is it my left side as I am looking towards the refrigerator?
PartSelect logo
Hi Sumit, Thank you for the great question. As you stand in front of the appliance looking at it, it will be your right side or your left side. Hope this helps!

What is the part number for the right side slide for the top crisper? The video shows how to replace the bottom crisper slide, but that slide is shorter than the top one. I need the top one but i don't know the part number for that one.
