This drawer slide rail is for the right side of your refrigerator. The drawer slide rail attaches horizontally to the refrigerator wall and supports the drawer so it can easily slide in and out. If the drawer slide track is broken, not sliding, or the fridge is not dispensing water, replacing this part could solve the issue. Make sure to unplug the refrigerator from the power source and wear gloves to protect your hands when installing this part. Refer to the diagram provided by the manufacturer for further guidance and instruction.

two screws to take out too swap out the broken shelf/drawer GE Fridge support and swap in new
The part was new, in a plastic bag, with the part number on it.
The only complaint I have is the price seemed a little high for a piece of plastic,
The real complaint is that GE was selling flimsy shelf supports, of which four failed from about 4 years old to 11 years old. I will never buy GE again, and will inspect the shelf support and make sure I am not buying junk. This stuff should be made of metal, not plastic.

Pieces/units were broken from general wear-and-tear.
Did the repairs just by self knowledge. Thank you very much for wonderful customer service (Kirsten was terrific!). We still can't believe how quickly all the parts arrived. Much, much, much appreciated. Blessings!!
Slider rails broke from weight/age and broke cover glass
We bought the refrigerator second hand, so one of the drawer slides was already partly damaged. Eventually both rails broke on the same side of the fridge taking the cover glass with them. All I had to do was remove the broken rails by unscrewing them from the interior walls of the fridge, kept the screws and used them with the new rails
... Read morebecause they were in good shape. Drawers slid right in. The new glass fit perfectly where the other had been. The most time I spent was taking the food out of the fridge and putting it back in. I did it by myself while my husband watched the baby.
A plastic drawer and a couple of plastic side rails were broken
As I unscrewed the side rails I made note of exactly how they were to go back on. Then I cleaned, cleaned, and cleaned. Found some stuff back in there that looked like steak but I couldn't be sure so I didn't eat it. I screwed the new side rails on using a regular screw driver, not a drill, and everything fit like a drawer in a refrige
... Read morerator. I ordered the screws just in case but I did not need them. I gently encouraged my wife to not overfill the drawers in the future and she was very thankful for the instructions.
I watched a You Tube and completed the job in less than 15 minutes. Took the drawer out then took the two screws out of the rail. Put screws in the new rail. Took the White face off the old drawer and put on the new drawer and places the drawer back on the rail slides. Job done.
The side rails on the crisper drawers had broken, and I had them replaced in 15 minutes or less! Very easy. I had also bought the bearing slides because it said I would need them, 3 for each rail, but the new rails came with the bearing slides on them, so I will be returning them,
Remove 2 screws hold the slide rail on & replace the broken slide rail. Very simply repair. Also, thanks to PartSelect for excellent service. Even included a video of the repair in my email order.
Each slide rail is secured by 2 Phillips screws. Remove the 2 Phillips screws on each slide rail. Reinstall in reverse manner of removal. A magnetized screwdriver is a big help for reinstalling the screws.

Hello Pat, Thank you for contacting us. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you’re looking for is Part Number: PS306910 for the right side and Part Number: PS306911 for the Left Side.Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Sn GA250811. The left slide rail 473 is broken. GE does not have it. They say the part number is WR72X28250. Is there a Generic replacement for one or both rails. Can the right rail be inverted to work? I see that is available. Please advise. Also looking to get a lower tray pan WR32S1459 and frame WR17X10542. I see some are one piece online. Please advise.
For model number TFX30PPDWW
Hi Nick,
Thank you for your question. Where the left side snack pan glide rail, part number WR72X282, has been discontinued by GE and you have contacted them and they do not have the part, you may also be able to locate the part you need by trying the following:
Using a search engine to type your part number and see if other retailers still have this part in stock.
Visiting online stores such as eBay and finding sellers that have this part.
Trying retailers and repair stores in your local area to see if they have the part in their inventory.
Talking to a local repair technician, who may have the part you need, or may be able to repair your existing part. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
