Is this water dispenser time delayed?
    For model number WR55X129
Hi Adona, Thank you for your question. This would be the dispenser control board. Which is just behind the buttons that you press to control your water and ice dispensing. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

I'm replacing the ice/water dispenser circuit board because i broke off one of the slider controls. My part number says wr55x0129 and your part number is wr55129. They look identical. I am assuming they are the same...mine just has an "0" in the part number that yours doesn't. is that correct?.
    For model number TFX20JRX
Hello Jeff, thank you for your question. Yes, this part number WR55X129 would work with your appliance. Good luck with your repair!

Our Kenmore ice dispenser randomly turns on by itself. It is overloading the bin and we had to shut it off, so that we didn't have further problems, please help. We don't want to buy the wrong part...thank you
    For model number 25351399103
Hi Cindy, Thank you for your question. If there is something inside the refrigerator that is interfering with the raising and lowering of the sensor arm, this will cause the ice maker to continuously make ice. You will need to check the arm to see if anything obstructing it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Water dispenses, but can't get ice to dispense. Worked for a short period by switching ice selection switch from cubed to crushed to cubed, etc.
    For model number TFX25PPBB BB
Hello Rob, thank you for writing. This sounds like a faulty Crushed/Cubed Ice Solenoid, part number PS11699580 for your model refrigerator. You may also want to consider this Dispenser Control Board, part number PS304236 as the cause. Good luck with your repair!

Our ice dispenser started running continuously. We removed face plate of inside door so it wouldn't engage light/dispenser. (and unscrewed interior light) fixed noise but obviously no ice dispensed. Put plate back in... everything fine for 10-20 minutes but then dispensing motor kicked on without any user interface. motor started smelling like burnout so went back to no plate. help! what part is needed?
    For model number TBX22PR
Hi Bill, Thank you for your inquiry. There are some parts that you will need to check to see what is causing the issue. You will need to check the ice maker, the actuator pad and the dispenser door assembly or flapper. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Is this control board somehow controlling the compressor or other switches which they control the compressor? The refrigerator keeps running. I have cleaned the condenser, door seals are good, evap fan runs good, no freon leak or low, defrost timer new, etc. So is it possible that this board is involved and not letting the refrigerator to shut down when its cold and time to shut down?
    For model number TFX25ZPBBWW
Hi Afshin, Thank you for the question. It sounds like you need to replace the PTCR Compressor Relay. The start relay briefly boosts the compressor, and then shuts off as soon as the motor gets up to speed. If defective it will not shut the compressor down and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

The ice maker door wouldn't open automatically
After replacing the solenoid several months ago, I concluded that the problem could only be the electronic circuit board that controls the timing and delay. The part arrived sooner than I expected. Installing it involved removing only six screws and unplugging two connections. The whole project took only about 10 minutes and now my ice maker works like new. Total cost was less than $55. Saved me several hundred dollars not to mention my personal time had I called in a repairman.

      Ice Maker Timing was off
The Ice maker would not run through a cycle. It would fill with water and produce ice but would need a little help by pressing up on the ejector to run through its cycle. Otherwise, it would not bring the ice to the holding bend. Sometimes the water would not fill. The icemaker was making ice it just was not letting the ice maker run through its cycle so I figured it had to be the circuit board. I bought the circut board which was easy to install.
      1) Turn off water line and unplug power.
      2) Pop off front panel plate at ice cube select switch area.
      3) Unscrew 4 screws that holds control panel housing in place.
      4) Remove panel assembly by disconnecting two different wiring plugs.
      5) Unscrew 2 screws that allows access to control circuit board at end cap.
      6) Remove circuit board by sliding it out of the assembly housing.
      7) Install new circuit control board in assemble housing and screw on end cap retainer.
      8) Attach two electrical wiring plugs.
      9) Install control board assemble housing into frig opening and secure with 4 screws.
      10) Install front panel plate (pops on).
      11) Plug in power and turn on water line.

      Light switch broken/door handle worn
To repair the light switch you need to replace the control board since the switch is not replaceable. The control board is easily gotten to by removing the outer cover, which snaps out, the removing the screws that hold the housing for the control board, make sure you disconnect the power and turn off the water supply before you remove the outer cover.. The board is held in place by a bracket which has two screws, make sure you disconnect the two wiring harnesses before the bracket. Once you get the bracket off the control board slides right out. To install the new board, just reverse the process.

Changing the handle is accomplished by remove popping out the top and bottom trim pieces, then remove the upper and lower screws from the handle. Reverse the process to install the handles.

knob broke off about 3 years ago, ice/water stopped working about 8 months ago
I only took on this repair on because of the comments I read here...was soooo simple!
Removed the knobs by pulling down firmly, popped off the front panel, removed 4 faceplate screws, popped that off...removed two screws holding the control board faceplate on. Unplugged the old control board, replaced it with the new one, plugged the new one in...replaced all the screws, replaced the knobs and it was done!!! One funny note...be sure to turn the electricity off to your fridge...when you reinstall the board water and/or ice start working right away. I think I'll go have a massage with all the money we saved by not having the repair person come out!

      Ice Despenser wouldn't dispence ice
All i had to do was pop off the front trim, remove 4 small screws, unplug two plugs and replace the board.

It took me a grand total of 9 minutes to get the job done.

Way cheaper than having a repair man come to the house twice, once to diagnose, and once to replace the board he would have ordered and marked up.

Water / Crushed Ice / Cubed Ice Switch Broken
Unplugged and shut off water. Popped off the face plate from below. Unscrewed 4 screws. Pulled out control board assembly. Pulled off two wire connectors. Unscrewed 2 screws to remove control board fastener. Replaced control board and reversed steps to assemble. When plugged in fridge, the switch was stuck on, so unplugged. Had to remove the rubber push plate and reassemble making sure the plastic lever was set properly in the control board. Reassembled and it worked properly.
