Introducing the Grommet and Gasket Assembly, a top-grade appliance part by GE that is pivotal for maintaining the optimal function of your refrigerator. Specifically designed to fortify your refrigerator's ice maker, this fill tube grommet fastens securely to the water fill tube, creating a reliable barrier that stops warm air from entering the freezer via the tube's opening. This diligently crafted part ensures that your freezer maintains a consistent temperature, leading to improved efficiency and better food preservation. Before installing this part, remember to unplug the refrigerator and safely store any perishables that could spoil with the power off. Though this component is robustly built, we recommend wearing work gloves during installation to safeguard your hands. Upgrade your refrigerator with GE's Grommet and Gasket Assembly for the ultimate seal of quality and performance.

I have water coming out of the back of my fridge and its from the water line that feeds the ice maker. Will this part repair what is making it leak? I pulled the fridge out from the wall, no leaks. I started to push the fridge back and the part (#260) moved out of the fridge and started to spray water. I pushed it in some and it slowed the spray to a trickle.

Hello David, Thank you for the question. If the Grommet and Gasket PartSelect Number PS285351 is lose or damaged it can cause a leak and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps!

Part WRo2x10967 is the part I will need. My question is regarding this grommet part and the seal, is the seal held into place (to the back of freezer) by a piece of double-sided sticky pad/tape or is the seal magnetize and just adheres to the metal on the back of the refrigerator?
For model number GTS18HCSARWW
Hi Dan, thank you for the great questions. Our research has found, the Grommet does indeed have a sticky adhesive. You will have to peel the paper off before installing. We hope this helps.

Have a terrible leak from filter area. Replaced filter twice. Still leaking. Can I replace the whole assembly that the filter screws into?
For model number GSS25ETHBWW
Hi Bryan, Thankyou for reaching out. We suggest checking the water tubing and replacing the Water Filter Manifold if the tubing is good. We hope this helps!
