This is a water pressure switch hose, also known as the air dome tube, for your washer. It is made of clear plastic and is sold individually. The hose transports water to your water pressure switch, so the switch can control how much water enters the washer during a cycle. If your washer will not fill up with water, or if water continues to fill the tub even after it is full, you may have a damaged water pressure switch hose. Inspect the hose for cracks and leaks, and if the hose is damaged you will need to replace it.

Washing machine never stops filling and thus overflows
Removed the screws from the control panel and flipped it open. Used putty knife to pop the retaining clips that held the front panel of the washer in place to expose the drum itself. Noticed black gunk build up in hose connecting the drum to the water level pressure switch.

Taped the old hose to the new hose so I could use it as a pull-wire to guide the new hose through its protected housing. Attached the other end of the new hose to the tub and voila, all was well.

washer kept filling, won't aggetate
The pressure hose was my problem. It seemed to be connected and did not have any visible holes. When I blew in it there did not seem to be a leak. After trying some tubing from the hardware store that worked sometimes but not always I decided to get the manufacturer part. I realize now that the pressure has to be exact for the switch
... Read moreto work correctly. You can check the switch by blowing into the hose from the tub end, it should start to cycle once the pressure changes. If the switch works try replacing the hose even if you can't find a leak and use the manufacture part to get the correct pressure. Good Luck.

Washing machine overflows on "Cold water" setting
Repair was simple. Initially thought the problem was the Water Level pressure swith, but since water overflow was only happening when selecting cold wash & during the rinse cycle (Always cold water) the Dual Valve Selenoid replacement FIXED the problem. Took 5 minutes to replace.

I removed four hex screws from the top of the washer. I found the water level pressure switch and removed the dial. I turned it to remove it from the holding bracket. I removed both wires one at a time and placed them in the new switch one at a time so I wouldn't get them mixed up. I put the new switch in place and put the top back on usi
... Read moreng the hex screws. The dial was replaced. When I tested the dial I found that the dial did not match up to the water settings. They didn't even come close. Although the numbers were close on the switches, they were different. I had to remove the new switch and put the old one back on until I can locate the correct switch for my washer.

I have this washing machine and when I turn it on it completely fills up with water until it is overflowing and coming out of the back and bottom of the unit? Any suggestions?

Thank you for your inquiry. I would suggest checking both your water inlet valve with a multi-meter to see if one of those parts are malfunctioning. It sounds like it could be one of those parts. Good luck with your repair.

Hello Pete,
Thanks for your question. It would be worth checking the water inlet valve, part number PS11721803, to see if it is intact. Shut off the power to the washer while the machine is filling with water, and if the washer continues to fill even without power, you'll need to replace the valve.
The pressure switch (part number PS3487292) is also worth examining along with the air tube to the pressure switch to ensure it is clear of obstructions and not leaking. Also make sure the water valve is getting enough pressure (minimum 20 PSI).

Gtwp1000m1ww will not stop filling with water. It continues to fill up with water even after unplugging the power. I purchased the following parts from parts select and replaced them but the washer still does not stop filling up with water. Parts replaced: 1. Water pressure switch hose; 2. Water level pressure switch; 3. Triple water inlet valve. I do not see any indication of anything clogged. Is there anything else i can check? Thank you?

Thank you for your inquiry. There are some other parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. Fills fine on the wash cycle but only particle fills on the rinse cycle. It does not fill with enough water on the rinse cycle. Only cold water is connected to the machine.

This sounds like the Timer is cutting the rinse cycle to soon.The timer controls most of the operations of the washer: water level, tub filling and emptying, length of cycles, and cycle setting sequences.I suggest replacing the timer switch,PartSelect Number PS3487294. Is that a lid on the air dome? And does it come off it’s nasty inside
