Just bought this washer used. I have a GE model number wjsr2080v2ww washer. It seems to fill, agitate drain and spin fine, then when it gets to the part of the cycle "soak" it just sits there and hums. It does not advance any further just stops and hums. I assume it should advance past soak and maybe go into a rinse cycle and then finish??? any advice would be appreciated.

Mark for model number WJSR2080V2WW

Hi mark, Thank you for the question. You can try to manual turn the knob to the next cycle, if it starts the next cycle as normal then you may need to replace the timer assembly. Hope this helps!
