D-Shaped Knob Clip WH01X10106

I returned the part because it did NOT fix my washer knob! The part did NOT FIX THE KNOB. I am waiting for MY REFUND PLEASE!!

After much research I decided to have to repaired all new models were not good. Reached out to local service repair because I beleved that it was the timer. $270 for service call REALLY and $125 for part.
Reached ot to PART SELECT LOVE YOU GUYS) SAID WHAT WAS THE PROBLEM the chocie was a new knob or replace timer. I am
83 yr old woman and believe I could have done it myself if it wasn't for the problem of moving the dryer out. shut off electric four screws
take out old replace new rewire the four screws WORKING NEPHEW

Remove the top panel removed the old part and replaced with new. Very easy

Ordered a new part just inserted the new clip, and pushed the new knob on the dryer! The dryer worked great. Thank you Part Select.

I simply placed the new knob on the shaft protruding from the dryer and it worked perfectly.

I was sure the selector would have to be replaced but, after reading at PartSelect that the majority of issues were caused by a broken D insert clip in the knob, I ordered both the clip and the knob. Because the knob came with a clip already installed, I used that first. I have installed the D clip in the knob I removed and used it in place of a knob I removed from the dryer to repair this same problem a couple of years ago.

This repair was a no brainer repair. The factory replacement knob that I bought from this site comes with a new "D"-Ring. Some other aftermarket parts houses sell the knob and the "D"-Ring as seperate parts. The knob from this site already has the "D"-Ring ring installed in the knob. My "D"-ring was broken and I simply removed it with my fingers. All I had to do was properly align the new know knob with the timer shaft and press it into place. If your "D"-ring is not broken and not still inside the old knob, you will need to pull it off the shaft with a pair of pliers before pressing the new knob onto the timer shaft. I just pulled off the old knob and put on the new one. Took 10 seconds. I did not need the D-Shaped knob insert clip after all.so glad i found this website.

The person on the phone was so helpful in locating the exact timer needed. We received the prt 3 days later and it was so easy to install. I would highly recommend this company. A local shop wanted to charge 3x more then what we paid.
