Hello Sue, thank you for contacting us. If the shaft of the timer is worn out and causing issues with the knob, you would need to replace the timer. Hope this helps!

Dryer timer function stopped working & the dryer will not shut off also, the lint filter was torn..

I unscrewed the backside top part of the dryer with a 5/16 nut driver then, removed the damaged timer assuring I marked the wires harness correctly with the new timer. I removed the damaged timer and inserted the new timer I then replaced and screwed in the backside top of the dryer. The Lint Filter with frame removed without difficulty (without any tools) and, I installed the new Lint Filter with frame with no trouble. The Job was completed in less then 12 minutes.

Timer had worn out & knobs needed replacing

I got the parts & a friend did the repair. He removed the "cover" from the top of the dryer to install the new timer. He "plugged" it back in, put the cover back with the screw driver & replaced the knobs & the dryer was good to go. It was much easier than I thought it would be. Getting the parts from you guys was awesome - the delivery was so speedy. If I ever need parts for older appliances that I cannot find at a hardware store, I will most definitely order from you guys.

Inconsistant heat... had heat for one cycle and none the next or heat would stop half way through dry cycle

Removed the screws from the back of the control panel. Unplugged the old timer assembly and the timer knob. Plugged in the new timer assembly and put the timer knob on. Put the back panel back on and screwed it back on. Very simple. The dryer now works like new. It has instant heat right away and everytime it used. The selector knob was also installed by just slidding it on. I absolutely love this website...it's save me so much money in having to pay someone else to fix it. :)
