When closing the dishwasher door and pushing the start wash button, it sounds like the motor starts running although no water is entering the washer, could this be caused by the water inlet valve, if not what could be the problem.

Thank you for your question. I would say that would be a good place to start. You can test your water inlet valve with a multi meter to check to see if it is working or not. You could also check your float switch as well. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

My dishwasher fills with water, but it does not go into the spinners to wash the dishes. The detergent (pods and liquid) is left in the compartment with the door open. I have cleaned out the filter at the bottom but I cannot find a float to check that. Any advice on what it could be?

Thanks for your question. You will want to test the water inlet valve and the pump for continuity with a multimeter, and replace them if they do not show continuity, as those are the most common causes for your issue.
