My soap dispenser door will not latch closed. Everything else works just fine. I’ve just been throwing the soap pod in the water after it’s been running for 5 minutes and it’s starting to get bothersome. What part do i need? The door shaft and black rotating arm look fine. Is it the white arm on the timer? It’s really sloppy.

Hello Breck, thank you for your question. If the door shaft and black rotating arm seems to be ok, and the dispenser door and latch are ok I would recommend replacing that timer lever, part number WD12X324. You may want to take the inner door panel off to see if anything is detached or broken before ordering. I hope this helps!

My soap container door will not open during washing cycle. If i manually turn the cycle knob, the door pops open as it should, but will not, as its intended, during a normal automatic full wash cycle. What's could be the cause and part needed to repair?
For model number GSD2000G00WW
Hello David, Thank you for the question. It sounds like the Timer, PartSelect Number PS260153 is not advancing on its own properly and may be defective. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
Need help installing timer and parts connected to timer
For model number hda3600h45ww
Dear Dennis,
Thank you for your inquiry. First the unplug dishwasher from the electrical outlet or turn the power off at the circuit breaker. Once this is complete, pull the timer knob off of the front of the control panel. Remove the screw located under the latch handle knob. Slide the handle knob off the end of the handle. Open the door and remove every screw on the inner door panel. Shut the entire dishwasher door and latch it. Grasp the sides of the outer door panel and pull the outer door panel down to separate the door panels and access the timer that is attached to the outer door panel. The inner door panel will remain closed. Remove the screws from the inner door panel and open the outer door to separate the door panels. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the timer and remove the timer mounting screws and remove the timer. Disconnect the timer harness connector and then remove the timer mounting screws. Attach the wires to the new timer the same way they were connected to the original timer and the reinstall the timer mounting screws. Close the outer door so that it matches up with the inner door panel. Grasp the inner and outer door panels and open the door. Keep the inner door panel positioned against the outer door panel. Close the outer door so that it mates up with the inner door panel. Grasp the inner and outer door panels and open the door. Keep the inner door panel positioned against the outer door panel. Line up the mounting screw holes and reinstall the screws that hold the inner door panel and outer door panel together. Line up the mounting screw holes and reinstall the screws that hold the inner door panel and outer door panel together. You can now restore power to your dishwasher and it should work now. I hope this helps.
