Original plastic handle broke after 9 years of yanking on it. Replaced handle with new metal one.
Remove door from microwave by removing vent and lifting door from machine. Removed first door gasket with putty knife. Pried out the second retaining bracket from clips with flat screw driver. Do this carefully, so not to break the clips. Remove the two screws from the handle and install new one with screws provided. Replace bracket and gasket in reverse order and reinstall door. Done

Replace handle on microwave door.
It was easy to get the back panel off but getting the screws out to replace the handle was quite difficult. Your prompt delivery of the part was awesome.

handle broke off
Well first off I would like to say I shouldn't have to repair a high end appliance that's not even 3 years old. Okay I took the inside of the door off. It was just snapped in. There was a piece of metal covering one of the screws(the top one). I wasn't about to take it out so I drilled an access hole to the screw. Pulled the two screws, replaced the handle, replaced the screws and that was it. The most time was spent trying to figure out how to get to the broke handle to get it off.

handle broken
Lifted the door up and removed entire door, took pry bar and removed the snap on plastic cover very easy. Has plastic snaps on the inside. Then removed the glass window same way. then you can see the two screws holding the handle on. Remove screws, then snap back together making sure you go slowly not to break any plastic snaps. The job was a lot eaiser than I thought it would be.
The replacement part was a perfect fit.

Microwave handle broke off
My repair worked out to be a cinch! My microwave looked very funny without it's handle. I did a little research on how to replace the handle and after popping the insert out of the inside of the microwave door, I was then able to remove the two screws that held the outside panel of the door (the part with the glass) to the part with the hinges. After removing the screws, I carefully used my trusty butter knife and screw driver to pry and pop the outside panel away. This was the most time consuming part of the job. However, once it was fully off, I unscrewed the screws that held the previous handle on and fastened the new handle with the new screws provided. Popping the door all back together was super easy. However, don't forget to put the screws back in that hold the outter panel on to the part with the hinges. :-) Good luck DIY'ers!!

Broken microwave door handle
First, take a butter knife and gently pry out the plastic frame inside the door of the microwave. There are tabs holding it in place in 12-15 different spots. Then there are two screws on the left side of the door back that need to be removed. Then we used a butter knife again to go around the door frame and pry off the actual door so that all that was left was a metal bracket attached to the actual microwave. Be sure to hold the door as you pry it off so it doesn't just fall to the ground and shatter the tempered glass. At this point, you can access the two screws for the handle. Work backwards to put everything together again. The final plastic frame just pops right back in and... hopefully... wha-la, new handle. Good luck!

handle broke
Removed the inside of the front door , pried the door seal apart with a butter knife so I could access the screws. Removed old screws and handle parts, installed new handle. The door will lift off making it easier to get to the screws. Then everything just popped back together, make sure the light goes out when you close the door, if it does you're done, if not check the door seal and make sure it's on evenly.

Remove/replace broken door handle.
Basically had to take the door apart from the inside on while still on it's hinges, at least the very back plastic part and the part of the metal part (I couldn't get it all the way off). It was a nightmare getting the screws out of what remained of the handle, as they were embedded in the plastic, and for the top one I basically chiseled away at the plastic so that only the screw remained (which I had stripped.) And my hands are raw from trying to access the upper screw behind the metal plate. Putting the handle on required a special L-shaped screwdriver, which I had to purchase. I tried in vain to screw in the bottom of the handle for about an hour, but the hole did not align properly with the handle, (which may have been the problem in the first place), so I gave up and superglued it. I only hope that I did not create leaks in the oven, given all my prying and whatnot, or that the superglue doesn't give off any toxins while cooking. Phew!

The plastice door handle broke off at the ends on the front of the microwave
Let me start by saying that this model microwave is nice, but there shouldn't be a plastic handle placed on it when it is mounted above a gas stove-top. The manufacturer should know this but I guess it was a poor decision on their part.

I popped the inside of the door off of the microwave. I then unscrewed the two screws that were holding the next bracket on and popped it off the door. When you take the second piece of the door off, then the glass and front come apart. You can then unscrew the two screws the hold the handle on. Replace the old handle with the new one and work back in the steps you took. A small tipped screw driver is a must.
