The outer panel on the door has developed a crack through the thickness of this panel. It appears that this part #7 on the door assembly. What is involved in replacing this part ? Thank you for any help you could provide.

Hello Joe, Thank you for your inquiry. Remove the grill above the door and remove the clips that hold the door onto the unit. Remove the frame around the inner door with a screwdriver or putty knife. Remove the screws that hold the handle to the outer door. You should now be able to detach the outer door panel to replace it. Hope this helps!

Does this door come with handle

For model ffmv162lwa, the correct part is the Complete Door Assembly - White PartSelect Number PS2582990 and does come with a handle. Good luck with your repair.
