Door hinge will not stay tight so door sags. The two screws that attach door to cabinet

The door on my dryer won’t stay closed. I bought a new strike plate and the door itself acts like it has some slop in it where the hinge is. Do you think it’s the hinge, the screws or combo of several things? Please help

The top screw to my hinge doesn’t get tight. It is not holding or grabbing anything? What do i do to fix this? Is it something into the casing? I’ve tried alternate screws so it isn’t that.

Message says door is not closed and prevents the dryer from starting

Thank you for your question. If you are getting a message that says the door is not closed, check and see if it is shut. If it is not shutting properly, check and see if the door is aligned properly and that the door is latching. If it is not, you should check the door catch and strike, the door hinges and the gasket.
