Quick replacement-just know to LIFT the door to disengage it
Perfect replacement for my Frigidaire dryer, but be aware that the video PartSelect has up doesn't show that the door has to be LIFTED to disengage it from the front panel. 10 minute replacement after that!

The door on my dryer won’t stay closed. I bought a new strike plate and the door itself acts like it has some slop in it where the hinge is. Do you think it’s the hinge, the screws or combo of several things? Please help
For model number Aeq8000fso
Hi Hershel,
Thank you for your question. If the door will not stay closed, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which ones are causing the issue. You will need to check the door catch, the door strike, the door hinge and the door gasket. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

The top screw to my hinge doesn’t get tight. It is not holding or grabbing anything? What do i do to fix this? Is it something into the casing? I’ve tried alternate screws so it isn’t that.
For model number AEQ6000ES2
Hello Angel, Thank you for the question. This sounds like the hole in the panel for the screw is wore our or damaged and the screw is not catching. The Panel, Part Number: PS9493759 may need to be replaced. Thank you for your inquiry, good luck with this repair!
