I purchased part no. Ps256698 door end cap (diagram ref. No. 441) for my GE range. Part of the old end cap is broken off in the door. I tried tweezers to pull it out but it seems like something is holding it in. What do i need to do to remove the old end cap and install the new one?Thank you,
norman
For model number JGBP30GEV4WH
Hi Norman, thank you for your question. You will have to take apart your door to be able to remove the plate that is inside the door from the end cap. We do not have a video specifically for your model however, in general, this video will show you how to take apart an oven door: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=skpONuI6N7Q&t=165s. Good luck with your repair.
