Not enough knowledge.
Got it right, but the problem was with me not enough knowledge and strength, what it should've been 1 hour it took 2 . Getting the element in place it was harder for me .
Other than that it was a good experience and a great accomplishment.

Element replacement
1. Unplug the stove!!!
(I zapped myself forgetting this important step, lol)
2. Unscrew two screws at the back where the element is inserted.
3. Use plier to remove the clips which connect the wire and match the proper wire with the same side of new element
4. Push element back in place and screw the clips back in place.
Easy!

The original bake element developed a short and burned out.
First step involved disconnecting the power cord from the outlet. Second step was removing the oven door from the range to facilitate removal/replacement of the element. No tools are required for the second step, just open door slightly, pull upwards, and the door detaches. Third step requires a screwdriver for removing 2 sheet screws that secures the element to the back of the oven. Finally, gently pull out old element a few inches and detach the electrical wire terminals from the element terminals. Just reverse the process for completion. Simply fix!

The old heating element on the oven bottom burned out.
First, I loosened the 2 bolts that held the old element in place and pulled it out from the oven back. There were 2 wires attached - black on the left, yellow on the right. The wires were easy to transfer from the old element to the new one. Then, it was just a matter of replacing the 2 bolts and now the oven works well.

OVEN PREHEATS TILL INDECATED SET TEMP IS REACHED. BUT TEMP IS NOT AT SET TEMP. WILL EVENTUALLY REACH SET TEMP BUT TAKES A WHILE

Hello Richard, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Temperature Sensor with a Multimeter. Testing the temperature sensor probe on your oven is easy. With the sensor at room temperature, measure the resistance between the two prongs at the end of the sensor connector. The resistance of the sensor should read approximately 1080 – 1090 ohms at room temperature. We hope this helps!
