The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. This OEM-sourced broil element with push-on terminals is located on the roof of your oven cavity, providing heat from above to cook and heat your food. It requires a 240-volt power supply to function properly. The element measures 13 1/4 inches in width and has a length of 15 7/8 inches from the mounting bracket to the back. If you are experiencing issues like uneven broiling or lack of heat, it is likely that the broil element is faulty and needs replacement. Before starting the replacement process, ensure that you turn off the oven at the breaker panel and let it cool down. To carry out the repair, you will need a flathead screwdriver, nut driver, and pliers. Begin by removing the oven door and racks. Then, unscrew the mounting screws that hold the old element in place and disconnect its wiring. Carefully pull out the old element from the appliance. When installing the new element, slide the wire contacts onto the terminals, insert it into the designated slot, and secure it with its fasteners. The top of the element is held in place by fork-like support clips, which are sold separately from the element itself.

The top (broiler) element melted in two.
Be sure to flip the breaker to the oven to the OFF position before doing anything. Take out the two screws at the back of the oven that hold the element. Carefully pull the element forewarn to expose the connections to the wires. Disconnect the element from the wiring connectors. Be careful not to damage the connectors or the wiring. Plug

Old broil element started burning with being on OFF position requiring need to turn off breaker and cut element in two to stop progression of burn
1. Turn breaker off at breaker box. 2.Disconnect old broil element. Pull electric wires out 3-4 inches from BACK of oven. Clamp wires or tie off so they do not retreat behind back oven wall. INSTALL wires to new element and secure back plate. Install NEW clamps to new element. Switch on breaker and check operation.

Replace the heating coil in convection oven
[1] squirted LiquidWrench on the 4 screws holding the convection fanblade rear cover in place. Used a socket and rachet to remove screws; the loosener really helped after 10+ years.
[2] the broken heating element was easy to remove. The two spade connectors however didn't have much free length;these wires wanted to retreat back

[4]I used needle-nose pliers to firmly crimp the the spade connectors onto the new heating element; couldn't have made a firm placement with fingertip pressure alone. [5] I cleaned the oven door hinge area, oven bulb area, and other hard to reach spots with Simple Green and wipes.

I researched the part number from partselect.com, ordered it and in less than a week (even in all the snow!) I had my part. Fifteen minutes later, my wife was broiling dinner! I repaired my broiler element without waiting on a repairman and for less than $50.00!
First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. Replaced the defective element with the new - all inless than fifteen minutes!
