Oven Elment Burned Out. Drip Bowls andTrim Rings Severly Tarnished and Very Old. Timer Knobs Broken.
Cleaned oven. turned off power at breaker panel. Removed mounting screws and pulled out oven element 4 inches to expose electrical terminals. Removed terminal screws and removed burned out element being careful not to let wires go back into insulation. Reversed procedure to install new oven element. Slid out old trim rings and drip bowls after slightly tilting surface elements. Cleaned top of range and installed new rings and bowls. Removed broken timer knobs. New knobs would not push on to the metal shafts until the metal retainers remaining in the slots were pushed out using a small screwdriver.

I knocked the timer knob off of my 30 year old GE range and it broke so had to replace it.
Simply put the new knob on and it worked perfectly. No tools needed. So glad to locate this website to purchase knobs that fit my range.

Timer Knobs were broken and one was missing
I received the kit two days after I ordered it, opened it and installed the knobs in less than 3 minites. The knobs were exact matches for the broken ones. The stove top now looks great and I cannot understand why I waited so long to make this simple repair.

timer knobs broken off
I simply took the 3 new timer knobs and slid them on the metal shafts. It took less than 5 minutes to replace all 3 knobs. Now I can set the start, stop and time functions which have been inoperable for over 5 years. An easy and straight forward .
