The oven flame is too big and it smells like a lot of gas is released when the oven is turned on. What part is needed?
For model number Jgbp33sel1ss
Hello Tricia, Thank you for your inquiry. Check first to see which type of gas the stove is set up for and which type you have in your house, because if the stove is set up for natural gas but you have liquid propane, the higher pressure gas flowing through the larger natural gas orifices on your stove results in more gas flowing through the burner and an unnecessarily large flame. Most stoves usually come from the factory already set up for natural gas and if you have never converted the stove, it would still be using the original natural gas orifices and you would need to convert it to natural gas. You would need two of part# PS240683, and 1 each of part# PS240692 and PS240691 to do the conversion, and convert the gas valve. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
