just needed new GE burner bowls
Only instructions I have has nothing to do with installation. But I'd like to suggest that you find a better shipping method. Placed my order on Feb. 7, received message later same day that it'd shipped. I didn't receive it until Feb. 16th -- very poor delivery service.

Rusted burner bowls and bad bake element
The rusted burner bowls were a given, simple remove and replace. The bake element was bad, meaning the loop was open (cracked). The element replacement should have been easier if I had read all of the feed back given on the reviews. The number one thing I must stress is that the stove needs to be powered down. Either via breaker or unplugged. I found out the hard way and had sparks flying all over the place. I figured that with the oven in the off position the element had no power, boy was I wrong! Don't ever assume that the appliance was designed for safety! I pulled out the stove and unplugged it, after that the replacement was very easy. One 1/4" nut driver was all that was needed.

the broiler burned out
Simply removed the screws from the oven ceiling, there was 2. My 9 year old son did this and then removed the 2 from the back where attached. I had to lean in and remove the last screw in the middle holding the heating element into place. This is all after taking out the oven and unplugging it. Once the screws are removed, it pulls right out from the foam and you "unplug" the 2 electical heat elements attached to both ends of the conduits. Take out broken one and replace new one the same way. This was our first time, repairing an appliance and it went well

The stove's burner bowls were dirty and old and the chrome was gone where the cooking drippings had collected under the previous owner's usage.
We simply typed in the model of the range and several selections of replacements came up on your website. We ordered the black porcelain ones to replace the old chrome ones, thinking they might hold up better and be easier to clean. They look great and I really think they WILL be easy to wipe up. I want to order the drip pans for my electric GE stove model jbp26gs1ad but when i find it on your schematic it says they are 8" and 6" respectively. I measured the diameters on the ones on my stove and the are 9 1/2 " and 7 1/2". Will your parts fit even? Or am i measuring wrong. The openings on the stove are 8 1/2 " and 6 1/2 ". My email address is jcontre@aol.Com

My burner bowls are 8.5" inner diameter and 9.75" outer diameter for the Kenmore cheap electric stove. I'm wondering if the last tenant just used the wrong size burner, 8.5" versus the 8" burner? Do i have to just change the burner if i want a new drip pan?

Hello Lisa, thank you for inquiring. This is the correct replacement Burner Bowl for the 8" Burner on your model. You do not need to replace the Burner when replacing this Burner Bowl. We hope this helps.

Does this burner bowl also come in 10" size for the larger burner?
For model number RCBS536DN4WW
PartSelect logo
Hello Maggie, Thank you for your inquiry. Researching the model number that you have provided, the burner bowls only come in 6 inch and 8 inch but the 8 inch is guaranteed by the manufacturer to fit the larger burner as that is what the straight arms on the bottom of the coil fit into. We hope this helps.

I cannot find this model on your parts website to order the drip bowls for the stove top. I found that 6" ones bought locally do ok, but the 8" are far too small. What is the correct item number for all 4 drip bowls? (2 smaller 2 larger--measures 975)
For model number JBP35SOH3SS
