Product Description
Drip Bowl - 6 Inch Specifications
This drip bowl, also known as the drip pan or burner bowl, is 6 inches in internal diameter to match the burner, but actually measures closer to 8 inches in total diameter to its outer edges. This authentic manufacturer-approved part is used to catch spills from cooking on the top burner. If your bowls are getting stained, dirty, or rusted, this replacement can solve it. First, remove the element from the stove top, and pull out the old drip pan. Insert the new bowl and make sure it is aligned to where the element is plugged in. Lastly, you can put the element back in. For safety precautions, make sure to unplug the range from the power source and wait until the surface is cool before replacing this part. This part is sold individually, if you are replacing more than one drip bowl on your stove at once, you will need to account for this. To replace, simply pull the old surface elements and burner bowls off, give everything a thorough clean, and install the new parts with no tools necessary.

Why does mine have more notches than yours is that an update problem or something? Also I need it in black not chrome. Do you have it in other colors?

Hi Fred, the 6-inch black burner bowl is found here WB31T10014, and the 8-inch black burner bowl is found here WB31T10015. It is designed to not have only one slot for the element to sit in, but will function the same as the previous version. I hope this helps!

The measurements I have found for this model don't match my measurements. The stove openings without drip pan are 6 1/2" & 8 1/2". I'm seeing " 6 & 8". Will this work. The dip pans measure 7 3/4" & 9 3/4" in diameter. Also, can I get enamel pans instead of chrome that fit my model?
For model number RB757WH4WW

Hi Barbara, Thank you for the question. Yes these are still correct. They may have took the measurements from the elements that sit over the bowls. They do offer the Grey Enamel PartSelect Number PS244396 and PartSelect Number PS244397. For Black we have PartSelect Number PS244398 and PartSelect Number PS244399. Hope this helps!

Trying to replace this part and ive never done it before. I got my new burner pan in the mail and opened it up and stuff but now I have to remove my element and Im scared to break something. How do I take it out?

Hi RJ, make sure your unit is disconnected from the power source, and cool to the touch. Grab the burner from the opposite side of the socket with both hands. Simultaneously tug and lift the burner away from the plug. You may need to wiggle it to get it loose. Please let us know if you have any further questions.

I have purchased new drip pans from local stores. When I tried to install them, I found that the burner coils did not fit. There are 3 pieces on each coil that used to fit in slots on the drip pans. Now there are no slits on the pans and everything is crooked (the cooking pans are very slanted). Do I have to buy new coils as well as drip pans to make them fit?
For model number JBS27WC2WW

Hello Linda,
Thanks for your question. The elements have been updated by the manufacturer over several iterations, so you may need new coils as well. Make sure that the element is in place all the way, and ensure the prongs on the element meet the slots of the burner bowl. If they still do not fit, you may want to order new elements.
I hope this helps.

My burner bowl is pretty damaged so I took it out and it comes out in two pieces but this one only seems to be one piece. If I want to replace my burner bowl do I just buy this or do I have to buy more parts?

Hello Liza, based on your model the 6-inch drip bowl is WB31T10010, and the 8-inch drip bowl is WB31T10011. Also, this part has been redesigned by the manufacturer, so it will look a little different but it will function just the same. Best of luck with this repair!

I have an apartment sized GE profile electric stove. I recently had to order (not from you) a replacement 8" drip pan. The drip pans i have for this stove are black...and the dealer replacement was chrome or silver. i gave him the model number with the last two digits 88...so perhaps i misread the model number...and it should have been bb. my question is if you have replacement drip pans that are black and is there a model number for this stove that ends in 88 or did i misread the number?
For model number JMP318L2BB

Hello Marcia, Thank you for the question. The Model woudl end in the BB for Black. I have researched the model you have provided and have found the part you are looking for is PartSelect Number PS244373 and PartSelect Number PS244375 for the black drip bowls. Hope this helps!

This was about the simplest fix I've ever done. Just pulled off the old surface elements & burner bowls, wiped down the range top, and put in the new parts. Perfect fit. No problems at all. $$ well spent. ParsSelect shipped quickly, and they arrived well packaged. A+ experience all around. Thanks PartSelect. JA, San Ramon, CA

Burned out block
Watched a repairman do it the last time for $200.00. This time I unplugged the stove, unscrewed four screw nuts holding the upper rear cover, unplugged old wires, reconnected new ones, fed them thru to the front, attached them to the new block, screwed the block into place, replaced back cover, stuck the element into place, made my little brother plug it back in and turn it on first. It worked. Cost me $20.00 to do what the repairman did the last time. I also replaced the reflector pans. No-brainer.

Burner bowls were rusty and unsalvageable. Surface element wasn't heating.
Removed all surface elements, threw away old burner bowls, put the 3 older surface elements back in place and inserted the new element.
The burner bowls look great. Now I won't wait so long to replace.
Thanks.

Simply replaced the drip pans. Came to realize that I had the skill set.
First dressed out with my hard hat, work gloves, dust mask then locked all the doors to prevent intruders from disturbing my concentration. During the installation took video for you tube broadcast and then invited friends and neighbors to witness the accomplishment! Made a sloppy soup to see how the drip pans worked. A+. Received quite a few back pats and atta boys. Most challenging aspect to this endeavor was unwrapping the packaging which was well done thank you. The whole experience left me refreshed and ready to take on the world! Thanks for asking!
