Sample Model Number Tags
Model numbers can be made up of numbers (1005400, for example) or a combination of letters and numbers (LAT1000AAE). The model number will most likely appear on either a paper sticker or a metal plate. Your appliance's model number tag may look similar to the sample model number tags shown here (model number highlighted in yellow):
This part is the replacement burner cap for your gas range. It is made of gray plastic and is approximately 3 inches in diameter. It has 3 small tabs on the bottom, with one tab that is larger than the others. This tab fits into the v-shaped slot. The burner cap is found under the grate, and it protects the burner. If your current burner cap is damaged or missing, this is the part that replaces it. Before you begin this repair, be sure that the burner cap and the grate are cool to the touch. To replace the burner cap, simply lift the grate off and remove the cap. Replace it with the new cap to complete your repair. This part is sold individually and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
How Buying OEM Parts Can Save You Time and Money

Cap is too light
The cap fit but the gray was too light. My grates and caps are all dark gray.

How to take out and replace warm zone button
For model number wfe540hoes2
Hi, before you replace the warm zone switch button on your range be sure to unplug the power
cord. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to unthread the screws securing the upper rear access panel. Pull the panel down to detach, use a small flat-head screwdriver to depress the front locking tabs to
release the warm zone switch assembly then push the assembly forward. You will need to depress the rear locking tabs to release the bezel and the old button. To install the new warm zone switch button first make sure the switch itself is properly positioned in the control panel, then align the new button slide on the bezel, snap the bezel on to the switch and snap the assembly into the panel. Reinstall the upper rear access panel by inserting the upper tabs under the control panel, then align the bottom tab with the lower access panel. Replace the screws to secure. with the repair completed plug the power cord back in and your range should be ready for use. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
