The GE Profile Range BP90S0SS, SS=Stainless Steel, broiler element would come on and not shut off, causing the high temp Code F2 display. Range had to be turned off at the breaker to clear the code.
Turned off the power, moved the range out from the wall to work behind the range, removed the top back heat panel 4 screws. With tape, labeled the 14 wires, took a picture to reference the wire connections, removed the 4 control panel screws and disconnected the 14 wires. Reconnected all wires and re-installed the control panel, and back heat panel. With range cleanup time, about 90 min total.
