Ps2370190. Should this part read open or closed with ohm meter
For model number Jvm1540dm5bb

Hi Larry, thank you for your question. If your thermostat is working it should read 0 ohms or very close to 0 ohms when you are testing it. If it has no reading at all then it is defective and needs to be replaced. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

The microwave fan will not shut off. Push the fan button and it just goes to low speed. Have to unplug it. The microwave itself works fine.

Everything works but no heat the food, which part do I have to replace?
For model number JvM1540DM4BB

Hello Jorge, thank you for contacting us. The most probable cause of the issue is a faulty magnetron, part number PS1481236. The magnetron works by taking the electrical energy supplied to the oven and converting it into high-frequency electromagnetic waves. These waves are then directed into the cooking compartment by a waveguide, where they are absorbed by the food, causing the water molecules within the food to vibrate and produce heat. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!

My microwave vent won't turn off. What part should I replace ?
For model number Jvm154odm5ww

Hello Vincente, thank you for your question. If the microwave fan doesn't turn off, it could be because you've used it too much. A thermostat on most microwaves, especially those made by General Electric, prevents the fan from turning off until the Microwave has cooled down. We hope this helps
