Product Description
Drip Bowl - 6 Inch Specifications
If your element will not heat, there could be an issue with your drip bowl. This chrome drip bowl is 8 inches in diameter, and fits most electric ranges. Before you replace the drip bowl, make sure the element is turned off and cool to the touch. Installation is easy, just remove the element, replace the current drip bowl, and replace the element. Make sure the small hole on the bowl lines up with the element socket. The manufacturer has substituted this part, it now has a hole in the center, and no longer has a solid bottom. Uneven heating of surface burners. Occasional electrical sound (arching) when burner was turned on. Also the burner would heat up and cool down while burner when turned on.
Replaced all heating surface burners. We noticed signs of arching on the front left (large) burner so we replaced that receptacle with a replacement receptacle kit. Very quick and easy install (5-10 mins) using the short part select video on receptacle kit information page.

wire was burned off
I followed the directions that came with the receptacle kit very carefully. The most important thing to remember is UNPLUG YOUR RANGE FIRST!!!!!!!! I am an 84 year old great-grandma, and not a electrician , but I found the job very easy and enjoyable!

the drip bowls had rusted through
a really simple fix! the parts came really quickly and all i had to do was pull the heating elements out along with the old drip pans and line up the new pans and push back in. the drip pans weren't 100% perfect as they were a universal fit, and were missing the clips that help the heating elements i nplace, but they look fine and do the job all the same.

bake element burned up
The bake element provided was perfect. To install it required removal of the stove. Due to the blower underneath, the stove was difficult to slide out and back in. The drip bowls need replacing periodically, and these last longer than hardware store ones.

How to measure the sizeof the drip pan?
For model number RF315PXEQ0
Hi Ahmed,
Thank you for your question. To measure the drip bowl from your stove, take a tape measure and measure the diameter of it. The drip bowl we have listed on our website is on a one inch grid square, so you may count the blocks to determine diameter of it. This drip bowl measures approximately 8 inches in diameter. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

Three of my stove elements do not work. This site says it may be the drip covers. How can a drip cover prevent an element from working?
For model number RS675PXGB12
Hello Tina,
Thanks for your question. We do not show the drip bowl being a likely issue for the element not heating. The elements themselves or their switches would be much more likely. You may wish to test the switches and the elements with a multimeter to see if they have continuity, and replace them if they have no continuity.
I hope this helps.
