The lint catcher barely has any lint. Where is it going? Its grey color.

Thank you for your question. A lack of lint on a lint filter is a sign of a blocked dryer vent. If the lint builds up in the vent or in the dryer, this will cause the element to overheat and when the dryer overheats, the lint inside can catch on fire. Check the dryer vent for blockages and if there is a blockage clean it. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

My lint filter is gray and seems to be in the same shape as the white one. Wanting to make sure the white one will fit my dryer. I don't want to order it and then it not fit right and have to send back. Thank you for your time.

Lint is somehow going around the lint filter, but it sets all the way down in the top as it always has. I just replaced all of the vent pipe and cleaned inside the dryer. Very little lint is on the filter but a lot of lint is getting on the grate on the outside of the house. Any ideas ?
