Basically only problem was removing the lamp base as the bulb and base had separated.
The two tips sent were appreciated as were helpful in understanding the situation. Do read tips provided Turning the electricity off, removing the broken parts, cleaning up the area then installation of the new parts fell into place.
Removed the two screws on top of vent with a phillips screw driver. Lift the vent up and away from microwave. Push down to snap in new vent and replace the two screws you previously removed. Done!l

Mounting brackets are fragile and plastic support is easily broken
Replaced the intake grille. The grille should be removed prior to cleaning. The entire part is plastic and easily broken so that the two tabs for the mounting screws are shattered and will not hold the part in place. If one attempts to clean the grille using only a moderate amount of pressure with a cloth the fragile plastic will break

What is the width of the grill? Our micro is 30" wide
