This authentic rear crisper support is a white, plastic part which is rated as "easy" to install by our customers. This OEM part replaces the rear crisper cover support in your fridge and mounts to the inside cabinet wall. If there is visible damager or your crisper stops fitting properly, it may be time to replace the part. Check your user manual and model number to ensure this part is what you need. Replacing the rear crisper support in your refrigerator is an easy job. This part is made from plastic and mounts on the inside of the wall. To complete this repair you will need a small putty knife, a punch or a short flat blade screwdriver, and a small hammer. You may need to replace your rear crisper support if you find that the door will not open or close. In order to complete this repair, you will need to remove all the shelves above the crisper in order to have ample room to work. It is also good to have duct tape on hand, which can be used to protect the liner around the support. This part is sold individually. Please note that the rear and front crisper support are different parts; this is the one you are looking for if it is your rear support that needs replacing.

Crisper support - easy fix
I knew it was an easy fix. you Tubed it to see exactly what had to be done. Took longer to unload the shelf and crisper drawer than to swap out the broken part.

It fit!
I wasn't quite sure how to remove the old part before installing the new. Just pulled out the old, put in the new, and it seemed like a perfect fit. It's been good for a few weeks now.

Easy repair if you do it right.
I tried prying the old support off with a putty knife and watched the fridge's plastic liner stretch out. You have to knock the old pin through the liner with the screwdriver or ice pick--the pin just falls behind the liner when you do that. Fortunately I stopped trying to use the putty knife before I disfigured the liner beyond usefulness. PUNCH FIRST, PRY SECOND!

Crisper cover support
Basically I just needed a crisper drawer cover w/o glass and the crisper support. I used a butter knife to remove old support clips and new ones snapped right in. Everything else was common sense
I followed the video and everything went smoothly. After pushing the pin in I pulled out the broken pin with needle nose pliers-very easy just like on the video. It took more time finding all the simple tools than the job itself-well almost!
Broken plastic guides on both crisper drawer covers. Upper crisper pan broken. Broken supports.
Remove both crisper pans and covers. Discard old frames and re-use glasses. Use two screw drivers to gently pry out broken supports. Top broken off smooth on one support. Unable to grasp with pliers to pull out. I drilled a small hole in the center of the large expansion pin. I screwed in a small sheet metal screw. Used side cutter pliers

Nothing exciting - just replaced the defective drawer covers with the new parts. The guides are poorly designed. the bottom guides on both covers failed.
I followed the excellent directions in the video linked to the email from PartSelect. The installation was quick and easy. I rated the whole operation "a bit difficult" because, if I had seen the video before I removed the old part, I would have known that you tap the support's center rod gently INTO the wall instead of wrestling it viole

Broken crisper drawer supports, cracked door shelf bins, broken freezer door handle.
My freezer door handle has been broken for probably 4 or 5 years - ex husband was not a handy man whatsoever. Never even thought to search for a replacement. Two door shelf bins were cracked and I had to be careful with how much weight I put in them. Then the crisper drawer support pegs broke. I couldn't do without that, so I finally s

My Frigidaire Drawer broke... I ordered the parts and installed it within 5 min. It took more time to remove the food and drawer then it did to install the pegs.
