Product Description
Triple Water Inlet Valve Specifications
The triple water valve or inlet valve in your washer connects to the water source and solenoid wires, and ensures the tub has the right amount of water entering it. If your washing machine continues to fill after it is full, or if it fills slowly, you may need to replace this valve. Before you begin this repair, be sure to disconnect the water and power sources from your washer. This part is sold individually.

Clearing enough space to work was the hardest part, besides getting a part that worked.
Customer Service was great. The first part leaked on the cold water side, it poured out from between the body and the elect.magnet. Called customer service Spoke to Megan she refunded to my pay pal acct., told me i would have to reorder using a credit card.
Called back and was helped by Becky. Gave her Info And ordered part again.I was leaving on vacation in two days so i had it shipped over night. It came the next day, but it was packed in a plastic bag. The bag had a large foot print on the outside. O
I opened the bag and, sure enough, the support arm is broken off. Back to customer service, Dave took care of the reimbursement and reorder. unfortunately UPS did not deliver on Saturday and I left for pigeon Forge on Sunday. A neighbor took it in for me. So it was another ten days until I could get around to it. I had plenty of wash to try it out on. Installed the part buttoned up the washer and turned it on. You can imagine my total shock when a small stream of water started flowing down the back. Checked the hoses,OK. Removed the screws holding the back panel to the front control panel ,spread them apart and was shocked to see water coming from the same place as the first valve only at a much slower rate. I tapped the part with my screw driver, that seemed to slow the flow. Then I cycled the water on and off several times and dried everything off. To my surprise it seems to be holding, but i think i will shut off the water after every use for a while. The job itself is very simple one takes only a few minutes .Shut off water, disconnect hoses. Remove screws from top back panel, and separate back panel and control to get to the valve. Unplug the electrical connectors from the valve, then take a pair of regular pliers and compress the hose clamp on the fill tube and disconnect from the valve. Remove the two screws holding the valve. To reinstall just do the reverse. The best suggestion i can give is to TEST IT BEFORE YOU BUTTON IT UP. I have put about 10 loads through so far, felt comfortable enough to put the cabinet, and supplies back in the utility room. They were taking up my living room since i started this project. Many Thanks To The People who helped me at Parts Select

No hot water
Verified there was 110 volts at the connection at the triple water valve. Removed two 1/4" socket screws and used pliers to slide hose clamp off valve inlet. reversed procedure, turned water back on, problem solved.

Water kept dripping in washer
Shut water valves off to washer. Then Removed the two hoses from washer. Removed the top panel off the washer. Disconnected the two wires to the thriple water valves. Unscrewed the two mounting screws. Using a magnetic screw driver will help not dropping them and possibly-losing -them. Next-Removed the old thriple water valve and installed the new one. Reconnected everything back in the order that I had took it all part. Also, A good thing to do is replace the rubber washers in the two hoses connected to the washer. (As it was needing to be done). Turn water back on to washer. (Problem solved no-more constant dripping of water In Tank of Washer!

THE CELLULOID TRIPLE WATER INLET VALVE WAS LEAKING INTO THE WASHER.
FIRST, TURNED OFF THE MAIN VALVE INTO THE HOME..AND BLED THE LINES. USED A SMALL BUCKET AND DISCONNECTED THE LINES FROM THE WASHER. TOOK THE PLATE OFF THE WASHER AND DISCONNECTED THE OLD INLET VALVE CONNECTED THE NEW VALVE AND REPLACED THE COVER PLATE. SINCE I HAD THE MACHINE DISCONNECTED, I PUT NEW WATER LINES AND REPLACED THE HAT AND COLD WATER VALVES WITH NEW 1/4 TURN BOILER BALL VALVES. TURNED THE WATER BACK ONTO THE HOUSE AND RAN THE FAUCET SO THERE WOULD BE NO AIR IN THE LINES WHEN I TURNED THE WATER ON TO THE WASHER.

Water fill valve leaking
Got this 1 1/2 year old machine from a friend that was disgusted that it had leaked water and ruined her kitchen wood floor. She didn't want it anymore. I took it home & hooked it up in the driveway with a garden hose and located the leak at the water fill valve solenoid. The valve description is confusing as it's a two solenoid ( hot & cold ) valve , but described as a " triple water valve". The OEM part came and was exactly the same as the one I removed. The machine works great and replaces my 12 yr old Kenmore washer that has given me trouble free service.

So when the washing machine isn't running, it drips water into the tub. The inlet hoses have already been replaced. Should i try replacing the triple water inlet valve?
For model number gtwn4250m1ws
Hello Michael, Thank you for contacting us. I suggest to check the water valve with a multimeter. It should be reading between 200-400ohms. Good luck with your repair!

I can fill the washer with hot water, but the cold side will not work. It seemed to become a problem very quickly. At first, the cold would flow for about 10 seconds and stop. Then it would do it again until finally not working at all. Does it sound like the triple water inlet valve? Thanks.
For model number GTWN4250M0WS
Hello Pete, thank you for your question. Yes, it could be the Triple Water Inlet Valve part PS2354072, but may also be the Pressure Switch part PS2354068 or the Water Pressure Switch Hose part PS272183. We hope this helps.

Start the machine, it beeps twice and then nothing. Put in new board asm mounded and in didn't help. Do we need new inlet valves or something else
For model number GRWN5150MOWS
Hello Sebra, thank you for your question. We have researched the model you have provided, and we would suggest the lid switch. You can test the lid switch with a multimeter. Unplug the washer and set your multimeter to the lowest ohms of resistance. If it does not read any continuity, then your lid switch is indeed faulty. Part number PS1482372. It could also be the water inlet valve. Part number PS2354072. Inspect the screens found inside the valve. Clean out any debris you find. You should be able to pop them out with a flat head screwdriver. Do use caution when handling the screens as they are irreplaceable. Set your multimeter to the ohms resistance scale X 1. Place each of the meter's probes to one terminal. Because the reading can vary from brand to brand and from model to model, there is no one reading you should receive. However, if your test produces a reading of infinity, then the solenoid is bad and the water valve should be replaced. We hope this helps!

When the water temperature on my GE washer is set to use a mixture of hot and cold water, I hear a loud pulsing or pounding in the pipes. It does not happen when set to use “tap cold” or “hot” water. Is this a mixing valve problem?
Thanks!

I'm have having a problem with my GE washer. When i set knob for hot water it only dispenses cold water. Sometimes i do receive hot water after a few attempts. But mainly it returns back to cold water after a few seconds. Please let me know if this is the part that i need or what part might solve problem thanks.
For model number GCWN4950D2WS
Hello Lawrence, thank you for your question. It sounds like the issue is either the valve or the
temperature sensor probe. We would recommend replacing the PROBE SENSOR ATC Part #: PS2355966 and PartSelect Number: PS2354072. I hope this helps!
