This spark module or range spark module, is used in ranges and ovens. The spark module monitors and controls the spark to ignite the surface burner in a range. It does this by sending a certain amount of current to the igniter to produce that spark. If you are not getting any spark to the igniters then it is best you replace this part with a new spark module. To repair, first remove the access panel at the back of your range with a 1/4 inch nut driver to take the screws out. Next, disconnect the power harness that connects the range to the power cord to access the spark module. Take wires off using needle nose pliers and pull the spark module off the range. Match and hook up the wires to the new part. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions and guidance.

I have a Frigidaire gas stove which has all the igniters sparking all the time when the stove is plugged in. All the knobs are in the off position. What can the issue be? Could it be the wiring harness or the spark module?
For model number FGF366CSC
Hello Anser,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest its likely a defect in the spark module under part PS2350722 for your model that's causing the issues with each igniter. We hope this helps!

The R. Front burner will not ignite-no spark. Will light with a match. There is spark on all of the other igniters.Would this be the module or would it be the igniter at this burner?

All the stove top burners are difficult to ignite. Must push burner knob(s) in and turn several times before they spark. And then, at times, they continue to spark after the burner(s) ignite. Also, infrequently, some of them will not ignite at all. What could be causing this problem???

Oven doesn't ignite all the time
Can turn it on and will smell gas but doesn't always ignite
Burners all work/have spark to ignite
Could it be the spark module?
For model number GLGF376DCC
Hi John, thank you for your question. If the oven will not ignite it is either the Spark Module part number PS2350722 or the Oven igniter part number PS444179. You can test the ignitor with a multi meter, If it shows resistance, it has continuity. No resistance? No continuity. Typically these will be somewhere between 80 and 175 ohms of resistance for a working igniter. We hope this helps.
One rear igniter is not sparking, but there is continuity from the coil to the igniter tip, so i am thinking we need to replace the coil? Can one coil output be dead while the remaining three still produce a spark?
For model number 790.75762001
Hi Blaine,
Thank you for your question. If one of the burners is not sparking, the issue may be the switch for the that burner that is attached to the wire harness. The park igniter would be another part that you will need to check. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!

Spark keeps sparking on all 4 burners every few minutes?
For model number FGF337ASD
Hello Jose, there may be a leaking or debris inside the range, or you may need to replace your igniter orifices for each one if there is obvious damage, or decay. Hope this helps!
