Air Filter - Door 241935001

This package contains one replacement air filter for your refrigerator. The air filter removes unpleasant odors and impurities from the refrigerator section. Some models will have a filter status light that will indicate when it is time to be replaced, which is every 6 months. Changing it on the recommended schedule will ensure it is working to its fullest potential. You may want to adjust this timeframe depending on the types of food you normally store in your refrigerator, or if you notice an increase in odors. It is located under the utility bin and/or on the inside of the left door, above the ice maker chute. This is an easy repair that you can do yourself in a matter of minutes. Start by opening the air filter door, remove the old filter and throw away, slide the new filter into the housing, and close the filter door. Your model may require you to press and hold on the air filter reset button on the control panel. The status should change from ‘Replace’ to ‘Good’.
