The ice maker shut-off lever is an OEM replacement part specifically designed to control the production of ice in your refrigerator. It is typically located inside the freezer compartment, near the ice maker. The shut-off lever is responsible for controlling the ice maker functions. When the lever is in the raised position, the ice maker turns off and stops the ice production. Conversely, when the lever is pushed down, the ice maker produces ice cubes. This mechanism allows you to control the ice-making process to suit your needs. A faulty shut-off lever will result in nonstop ice production or no ice production at all. Carefully detach the old lever from its housing and position the new shut-off lever in its place. Finally, reactivate the ice maker and verify that it functions correctly by observing the ice production cycle.

have water coming out of ice maker and water dispenser when water dispenser activated.
For model number frse26kf6emb
Hello John, thank you for your inquiry. According to our research, we would recommend you check if the refrigerator fill tube is wrecked or damaged. If this is not an issue, you may need to change the water inlet valve, part number PS7784018. The function of the water inlet valve is to release water from the supply line when activated, and send it through to your water dispenser and ice maker in your refrigerator. We hope this solves your problem!
